I believe the important distinction here though is custodial vs non-custodial wallets. BitCoin that is kept on CoinBase or similar platforms can and will be seized by the government if desired, and it appears that is already happening in Canada, with exchanges complying to government orders, and custodial wallets being seized. I hope I'm wrong about that in Canada currently, but regardless, I believe it's a critical component to the crypto argument. There are a couple extra steps to take, and everyone needs to be aware of the importance.
